2000 ds only runs on charger

We have alot of customers whom bought a golf cart on a street corner for a great deal only to find out later that the Cart is very sick. The customer neither has the time or desire to fix their own cart, so i get to figure it out and of coarse fix it, for a small fee
Your seam's like a easy fix... BATTERIES; a least your cart will run, others are not that lucky. You have a great cart with a lot of potential, enjoy the trill of the FIX

How can this be?
If that’s really the problem then it should be an easy fix.
I bought new batteries at Costco either late spring or early summer.
They sat on a wooden dolly until a few weeks ago as all the other repairs were done.
Does this mean that my charger does not charge?
I assume it is in float since the amps reading is 0.0 and the green fully charged led is lit..
If I disconnect all the batteries and they read 8 volts each, are they good?

Sorry for not understanding

This picture on post #6 shows two additional wires (blue and red) connected to each side of the fuse on the charger receptacle, where do they go?

The blue was attached to the negative side of the last battery in the pack.
I described it and disconnecting it.
The red goes to the negative side of the first battery in the pack.
It is the one I described as I recently added due to the page illustrating how to bypass the obc.
A copy of the article is included in my pics.

yes sir nobody wants to hear "You need Batteries" however it just may be one. take some time and evaluate again. If you have the ability to, charge the batteries with a different charger, get each battery to 100%, load test either with a machine or put the cart on blocks and wedge a 2x4 under the gas pedal, and run it, taking volt reading on each battery every few minutes, granted the pack is not under full load, but a bad battery will show up with this method. Ensure you have the right amp hour batteries for this cart,

Post a photo of the battery compartment. You have both charger leads going to negative terminals. Need to see what else might be wrong.

Can I use this charger to individually charge 8 volt batteries?
It is a 6v/12v charger 2amp, 10 amp, starting and deep cycle.
Probably not.

Actually the red wire at the lower right side of the charger plug goes to the positive side of the last battery in the pack.

I will take pics tomorrow and begin to individually test the batteries.
