Burned out factory headlights
Ok Im wanting to use the wiring from my factory headlights on a 2003 club car ds that is burned out they arent to my knowledge (yes I have looked) any LED replacement so putting the 4inch LED motorcycle lights on top of front bumper. Will they overload existing headlight wiring or should I just use new wiring and switch. Im disconnecting the old ones and connecting to new LED ones.

Re: Burned out factory headlights
You should have no problem doing that. LEDs usually have less amperage draw than old halogen lights anyway.

Re: Burned out factory headlights
led lights will be a lot brighter and probably 1/3 wattage of the old halogen lights
look at post 2 in this thread, they may still be $10 with coupon code, similar to what i used http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ml#post1662275 simple L brackets behind the bumper on my 03 cc 1st pic is 2 brackets, long is "as bought", short is modified bracket brackets go back behind the bumper towards the body to recess the lights easy peasy |
