Lift question
Getting ready to lift a 2001 txt. Lift comes with a different tie rod and the tie rod that’s on it has male tie rod ends. I have the female tie rods but need the nuts that keep it from moving after it’s aligned. I have no idea what those are called or where to find them. Anyone know what they’re called and if a sponsor sales them?

Re: Lift question
I believe you are talking about the tie rod jam nuts....a pic if yours would help. is this what you are talking about?

Re: Lift question
You should be able to use any nut that fits. Take the tie rod to your local Home Depot/Lowes/Menards/Hardware store and see what nut will fit the thread.

Re: Lift question
One has to be right hand and the other left doesn’t it?

Re: Lift question
Headger's EZ-GO likely has the same type of tie rod ends that my 2000 TXT had on 'em. Mine had a male thread instead of the female type Sir Nuke shows in the pic.
You need to buy new tie rod ends and the jam nut. My Jakes LT front came with new tie rods......but not the tie rod ends. FWIW |

Re: Lift question
I couldn’t reuse the old ones because of different type. I have the ends, just looking for the jam nuts.

if you don't know how or have the tools to determine the thread pitch....take the tie rods and or the tie rod ends with you, they can do that for you. |

Re: Lift question
And make sure you are getting the correct lift. 2001 is around when they changed design.
