2015 48v Yamaha sluggish on slopes/hills
I have a 2015 48v Yamaha that seems to run decent on flat but any kind of incline or hill it really slows down. The steeper the incline the more sluggish she is. I did test each 8v battery and seem to have proper voltage. All seemed to be in the 8.3v range. Suggestions on what to check next. Thanks!

Re: 2015 48v Yamaha sluggish on slopes/hills
Yours is a DC motor, not a AC motor? Be certain. How fast does it go? What size tires? If they are stock or street size tires (not offroad tires) and your speed is 25ish mph, someone put high speed gears in it. Gears, or large tires kill torque. The only way to reverse that is lose the gears, smaller tires (if offroad size), or spend a pile of money on a motor & controller upgrade. The stock controller is weak, and a bigger controller will eventually kill the stock motor.

The wheel size doesnt really help, I need tire size.
