Default 09 EZGO RXV Body / Wheel Alignment Issue

First post here so I look forward to learning the ropes. Regarding my question, Santa dropped off new 14 inch wheels for our RXV and when I put them on today I found an issue on the passenger side where the entire side "body or frame" is about 1.5 to 2 inches shifted back compared to the driver side. Driver side fits great. it's a standard height 2009 with recently added heavy duty leaf springs.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on what the issue might be and how to correct it. Thanks!

Never seen one that far off that wasnt wrecked at some point. Although, I suppose it could also have the wrong leaf spring on one side.i would start with the easy/cheap option and measure the leaf springs & check for differences (and hope you find that to be your problem, because if the frame is bent that far, most shops will say "no way, I'm not messing with that much damage"). I have replaced whole frames, it's a lot of work, and I have straightened many frames. I can tell you, if its crash damage, that's a lot to "stretch back out" successfuly.

I completely agree with cgtech, 1.5-2 inches is quite a bit to pull back out. Could be done, but would be best put on a frame machine to get it accurate. Have you checked the rear axle position on the leaf springs? Maybe it's a bit forward on that side?? I think the heavy duty springs can be put on either way, but perhaps the mounting stud is justified slightly to one side or the other on yours or maybe it's forward of the stud on that side. I'd start there and measure all points until I find a difference.

Thanks for the input from you both. Fingers crossed that its an issue with how the leaf spring is installed.
