2014 club car voltage reducer wiring
Have a question about wiring 30amp dc converter from scotty b site, the blue one. Know that I don't want to mess up the onboard computer and understand that the yellow wire from reducer needs to go to main + with the blue spade connector on battery and black from converter goes to bullet connector. The green will go to the key switch. I'm going to install a fuse block that has buss bar built in so red wire will go to + off fuse block and black(going to splice into black of converter and run another 14 gauge wire to fuse block buss bar negative pole. Trying to avoid messing up on board computer and know that's a common concern from people with clubcars;). I run a Yamaha and like the ability to add w/o having to worry about onboard computer; love yalls frame though. Can anyone confirm if this is right?
Attached a pic of the converter I'm installing. |

Re: 2014 club car voltage reducer wiring
I ran mine similar to that with exception of the negative from the bus bar. I ran a separate ground wire to the battery bullet ground in case I needed to do additional testing in the future.
