Jakes disc brake kit hub won't fit new spindle
Was installing the Jakes disc brake kit this am. Passenger side existing hub won't go on the new Jakes spindle? The drivers side went on no issue. I tried to nicely beat it on with a rubber mallet but it seems that the spindle is slightly too big for the bearings?
Also as a side for anyone that has installed this kit it seems like the rotors studs pass through the existing hub but nothing holds the disc to the hub except once you put the. wheel and lug nuts on which is a pain because essentially you have to hold the disc from the back to line up the studs or did I do something wrong? |

I had one like that. They had painted the spindle so I had to sand the spindle slightly.
