Default Club car motor change

I have 04 precedent. Has back seat. And onboard charger and cord reel under back seat

I want to remove the motor and have it rebuilt by plumb quick. I changed one many years ago on an ezgo. Don’t trmember it being too bad. I did it from under underneath. I think I removed one of the rear tires and got it out and back in from underneath

Anything special I need to know about doing this with my precedent?

On the precedent I find it easiest to disconnect all the motor wire connections then unbolt the lower end of the shocks and the rear spring shackles. Then use a big floor jack to raise the rear of the cart with both wheels on the ground and let the axle rotate down so the motor is accessible.

Preparing to do this as well and was dreading trying to get access. Your method is so simple and obvious if I had thought it through. Thanks.

I've done this a couple of times and what works for me is simple use a car jack. I unbolt and slide the motor almost off the shaft, take a floor jack raise it up to the axle roll the motor on it, lower and slide it out. Oh I have the rear of the cart on jack stands. to put new motor in put it on the jack, slide it under the cart jack it up to the shaft height and slide it over and on. My jack is a 3 ton and it I literally only have to slide the motor over a couple inches to remove and install. Easy one man job and don't have to unbolt anything, it's a 5 minute job this way.

I'm an old fart with a bad wrist. I take it a couple more steps from Fairfax after I have it on jackstands and disconnect the brake cables and front spring bolts as well. Then roll the entire axle w/ motor and springs out from under the cart as an assembly. You have easy access to motor and easy to replace the spring bushings at same time. Old man way
