Default Healthy battery pack meter reading...

Ok guys with a lot more knowledge than me. Club Car Precedent 48 volts (12x4). I've installed a new little digital voltage meter in the dash and wondering what should a full pack read and what should it read under a load??

It's wired to the key switch and to the black and yellow wire. Is there much voltage loss wiring this way? Thanks in Advance.

It varies with pack to gauge in regards to actual voltage. I have seen .2v to as much as .5v.

You should get around 50.9ish with a full charge which is taken 12 hours after charge completion. It varies again based on age of pack and condition. In regards to under load. full load could be as much as 8v and then leveling out as the speed is reached.

Thanks! You seem to be the battery pack guru so and I've never used a meter so was just wandering what the voltage might be when the pack might have some issues. Mine is a couple years old and seems to be in good shape based on your post.

Flooded cell batteries should produce 2.1-2.15 volts per cell fully charged and resting at least 12 hours after charging (already mentioned). A 48 volt cart has a total of 24 cells.
