Default G22 E solenoid

I went to replace solenoid on cart but didn’t notice the original one said 12v/cont and the new one says 48v/cont. I have 4x12volt Trojan batteries on cart wired series. Once I cut on switch to run from tow right wheel spin for a bit and stops. Any help would be appreciated I dived right in any advice will help thanks.

G22 electric should have a 48v solenoid, not 12v (that 12v one is Not original).

The 12v solenoid coil would have drawn 4x as many amps as the correct solenoid would have. Very possible the solenoid activation circuit in the controller is damaged.
