Upgrade motor?
anyone heard of these guys? Electrical motor products? Replaced the mud caked bearing and its strong and quiet again. But this cart needs batteries and I was thinking about converting to 48v, does anyone know if this motor will handle 48v? Its super strong, can only imagine it would be an absolute beast on 48v... if it would hold up...

Re: Upgrade motor?
They are a known company on this board. Very professional far as I know tho haven't dealt with them personally. There are current members who have used them so hopefully they will see this. orangeman6 I think used them within 2 years or so.

Re: Upgrade motor?
Thanks guys.
Cart runs as well as it can now with old tired batteries lol. Its good for 4-5 miles and then needs a nap. Ive got specs from the company already... but the sheet just says 36v. I'd much rather upgrade to 48v and an alltrax sr48400 if it won't smoke the motor. Looking at their website they seem to do kinda like PQ and rebuild the oem motor bigger and badder. If the stock would work on 48v then I'd think this would be fine, but I really don't know for sure. As it sits, with a fresh charge it will spin 22" swamp fox mud tires backing out of the garage... This cart could be a monster on 48v |

Re: Upgrade motor?
It'll probably love 48V, but contact Chuck at EMP and find out for sure.

Re: Upgrade motor?
I emailed them earlier this year and they said they'd contact me but no reply after the initial contact-I'm really disappointed.

Re: Upgrade motor?
I did get an email response. They say 36v only. Did not specify reason just said only 36v.
