Default Need a whole new rear end

So, the '93 EZGO Marathon I bought as a project has just become more of a project than I anticipated. After repairing the frame and installing new batteries, I finally got it running, and there is a loud grinding noise coming from the rear end. The bearings right behind the wheel hubs are nice and quiet, but when I pulled the cover off the differential, I found where the noise was coming from. The differential oil was seriously contaminated with water. It looked like brown Elmer's Glue. With the cover off, as I rotate the wheels I can hear the grinding inside the axle.

Finding a rebuilt transaxle for a '93 Marathon is pretty much impossible, but I was told that the rear end from the TXT should fit.

Please take a look at these links and and tell me if you think either of them will work on a '93 Marathon?

I have one but it is in a project cart with motor and controller. $700 for all. I assume I am too far away. I am not an EZ GO expert so I don't know which years interchange. Sorry.
