Ezgo S4 power loss
All stock 2017 48v Express S4 loss of power question... After a charge the cart runs great on level ground and hills then after few miles slows dramatically, almost stops on same hills. All batteries test 8+ volts, have been load tested good even after it slows. Batteries always maintained distilled water and connections are tight. Any suggestions? Can controller go 1/2 bad? I don’t really want or need more power/speed than stock. What are my options?tia

Re: Ezgo S4 power loss
It sure sounds like battery issues. Use a meter and monitor the voltage while you are driving. I'll bet the batteries are draining quickly.

Re: Ezgo S4 power loss
Batteries test fine even after Cart slows. Could it be solenoid or am I looking at controller? Cart runs great right after charge.
Thanks |
