Default EZ Go Motor Swap to Yamaha

Hi all,

Will a Yamaha 36v motor work in an EZ Go? It is old ('7 I believe. Are there things to note (i.e. spline diameter, housing size etc.,).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Ignore my answer. I was thinking of the input shaft. I cant say for sure if they are interchangeable but I know some are because ive done it before..
