G1 for My Sons GMA Service Project!
I am not sure if any of you have heard of the "Royal Rangers"!
It is a Christian "Mentoring Ministry" where we work with Boys and Young Men and train them to become Leaders in their Church, Homes and in Society. OUR MISSION: Royal Rangers exists to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ like men and lifelong servant leaders." This is our passion! My oldest son is completing his "GMA" (Gold Medal of Achievement) (Similar to Eagle Scout) and this G1 and another cart (the Par Car) is his "Service Project". They belong to the "North Texas District RR Camp" and they are in sorry shape. I have included a few pictures and a picture of Joshua. Any and all help on this project will be greatly appreciated! (Please See Next Post For More Pics) |

Re: G1 for My Sons GMA Service Project!
As you can see this little Yamaha is in need of alot of repair. it still runs, it just needs a head gasket and a tune up. (we hope) but alot of body work. If anyone has a G1 that has some of the body panels he needs, please contact me.
That is Joshua at the right of the picture, as he took part in this Years Memorial Day Ceremony in Tyler, Tx. |

Tell your son Way2Go from spriddle!!! That is AWESOME! I'm sure the G1 guys here will be more than willing to help you with any tech and mod questions you have. Might want to post whatever you need in the for sale section as well. If I had some G1 parts, I'd gladly donate them but I don't have any 2 stroke carts.

Re: G1 for My Sons GMA Service Project!
Here is a sneak peak at Joshua's GMA Project. We have done allot of work so far but still have a long way to go.
We are in desperate need of a rear bumper! The front bumper could be replaced but we could possibly make it work with a little TLC. The Body took lots of Fiberglass work but it was fun learning it together. It was painted with bed-liner and infused with 3 coats of metallic red paint while it was still hot. The steering column was painted with Silver Metallic paint. The Steering wheel was painted with Hammered grey paint. We were going to buy a new steering wheel but the cost of the rebuild so far has helped us decide to curb our desires a bit. We have to replace the rear seal it should be ready to take it for a test drive. I will post more pictures soon. |

Re: G1 for My Sons GMA Service Project!
Very nice work Custom steering wheels are overrated for the price, in my opinion. You need 3 things, it's gota run/steer and brake! What do you need other then a rear bumper? Looks like some engine shrouding. Witch one is your son in the picture?
