Yes the shroud is partially broken. Both rear fenders are torn where they attach to the frame on the rear, it looks like people thought they were built for foot rest. I think they can be repaired but we haven't gotten to them yet.
I don't know of anything else off hand, but we plan on finishing it this week, so I am sure we will begin to see any final details.

Joshua is the one at the right of the line, he is the closest to the camera.

Question Re: G1 for My Sons GMA Service Project!

Having a bit of an issue with the throttle adjustment!
Cart was running fine with a top speed of 16-17 and up hill (steep hill) 12-14.
That is fine with me however, we felt like it needed a bit of adjusting since it didn't seem to be just right.
We took the center floor plate off to check the accelerator linkage and this is what we found... The bracket that holds the throttle cable was bent over almost at a right angle toward the return spring... as you can see from the photo we have straightened it already, however, the result was we lost allot of our low speed and gained some top speed but when you reach top speed it begins to spit and sputter a bit (almost as if it is starving for gas)
I readjusted the linkage and the back end of the throttle cable to where when the butterfly on the carb is almost closed, the exhaust valve is closed, then turned the adjustment screw on the carb butterfly "2 turns in", according to the manual. This helped some with the low end but it still does not have a smooth take off like it did before.
I do have the governor screw adjusted almost all the way in.
Please Help!

You need to adjust the butterfly to close completely....

Thanks "flintrock", that seem to do the trick!
I have low to mid range again and good high end with a little to spare.
The only thing I noticed that I haven't noticed before is that going down hill at top speed it is cutting out. could this be the governor???
before I found this bracket bent, I could get up to 23 mph down hill with out any problems.
Just wanting to be sure that things are set the best they can be.

I am ashamed to admit what we wound up spending on this cart... But it is defiantly for a good cause!
When we took it back to the district camp and presented it to them they were all shocked! The district director asked "What did you do with the Cart that you took"?
That weekend alone it serviced over 500 boys, and that was just one camp out of the year! We anticipate that it will help in the mentoring of Thousands upon Thousands of boys, young men and men for years to come, as it services up to 6 camps (or more) every year!
We just need to figure out why it's not charging the battery!

Wow! You guys did an incredible job on that cart. I really like how the red glitters in the sun. Kind of surprised me with the textured coating. Did you recover the seats yourself or have someone else do them?
