I'm good with the "Z" and my Jake's 3" spindle lift(s), both have taken a beating, My buddy has an AS 7.5 SS lift, and we tend to... ummm... "stress" our carts, his broke twice... and mine didn't, sooooo... I'll stick to what works! |

Re: adding factory lift kit to carryall
I've searched and searched and searched, and can't seem to find a definitive answer. Is there any reason why a Jake's 4" Eco "Z" lift wouldn't work on my transporter 6? I really want to keep the front end steering and ride, especially given the added weight. I like the look as well.
From what I can tell there are some that have installed the factory z style lift to carryall's but and not sure if I can assume the jakes z lift will work on my transporter. TIA! |

Re: adding factory lift kit to carryall
Ok, folks, so I contacted tech support and here is the answer I received. Posting so others have the info... Looks like my only option is the spindle lift.
the Z Bar will fit after cutting the body of the cart to install but they do not recommend it due to stability and structural due to the length you have as a transporter. This lift is made for the 2 passenger Club Car DS not a transporter or a stretch of any kind. |
