My new to me G1
Hi I am new to the forum. I live in central MO. You guys have made a nice spot to hang out. Love all of the information here. Most of you know this cart. I bought it from Tonka329 this last weekend. He went above and out of his way to meet me half way to pick it up. Thanks again Justin.
Not going to do too much to the cart right now. I have too many other little projects going on to add another. But it is a good cart and I can play with it till it is time to paint and do some fab work on it. Planning a roll bar, front and rear bumper's. Front will have winch, lights and hitch hookups. Back will have just a 2" receiver made in it. I would like to incorporate and rear seat and storage in with the roll bar for the back of it. When the time comes I will figure it out... But I need some ideals from all of the everyone that I can. Thanks for the forum you guys have made and I will post pictures as I go..... |

Nice buggy! This thread may give you some ideas about how to fab up bumpers and a winch:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/big-b...lockin-g1.html I think about page 6 I have some images that may help you. Spring is just around the corner, and I can get the buggy out and continue work on it. |

Re: My new to me G1
GMB74, that is a nice thread.....I will keep it in mine.. Won't do too much to the cart right now. Have too many other projects going. But by the end of the year or bringing next year the cart may have a little HP.... Last cart I build was about 10 years ago. Took an old Melex and back halfed it with a 300ex....it was fast at the time, but now it would not compete with what guys are doing now. It was fun though, would still pull the wheels going into 3rd......donuts was a blast....
