Default rear view mirror

I just purchased a 5 way rear view mirror. How far from the roof should I mount it ?

As close as you can get it ....comfortably with the hardware you have and the frame width....

I put one on my cart, and don't think I like it! Can't really see squat with it!

Here's what I did; had convex mirror laying around so I put it on. I also made a grab handle for the passenger. Off road, the 5 panel mirror would move out of adjustment so I made the apparatus to hold it in place.

Again I welded nuts inside the tubing for as clean of an install as possible.

I was painting cabinets yesterday, so I was wearing the worst rags I had!

Again, I don't like drilling holes in any car so I used the existing holes that were there.
The grab handle works great, everybody that rides there uses it. Its just in the right place. I don't like the look of the convex mirror, its to big, and I like a clean look (no clutter) on a car. But I drive alot in the city, so its good for that. Other than the mirror, everything is tucked up kinda inside, so its not noticeable.

You should see my sandrail, talk about creature comfort, its just about, a seat and a steering wheel! 2 switches (ignition and lights) and the radio is a big loud motor! (Sweet music!!)

Anyway, the "radar" is a clock with a temperature sensor.

Did you get your new tires, and your handling problem straightened out?

G9, that red car aint no slouch! I have been admiring that car ever since I saw it finished! Isn't that the car you had to do alot of welding on the rear suspension and battery tray? I just love seeing a dead one brought back to life! And being taken care of.

I might order the tires today...but having a REALLY hard time deciding which ones to get!! Handling issue is cause of the shocks. I think mine are just worn out.
