Re: G16 been sitting for a few years.
Charge the battery, check the oil and try to start it.
Not trying to be smart, but I rescued an old Club Car that had been sitting in a barn for 2 years. It tried to fire up with just a charge. Draining the fuel tank and adding fresh fuel would be my first step. Spark plug, air filter and fuel filter couldn't hurt It just may suprise ya |

Re: G16 been sitting for a few years.
Drop a little oil in the cylinder and hand spin it a few times just to get it wet after that long.
If you need to clean the carb, clean the tank, pump, check fuel and pulse hoses for cracks. After you get it running, 10 minutes to get the gunk stirred up and suspended in the oil, then change oil and do basic tune up parts. |
