Default Newbie needs to know if this is a decent deal (2) G1's for $500

Hi all,

new member that just found the site!

I just went and looked at two G1s for $500 for both. Once ran very very well (brake was sticking) but its is basicly a wreck (rotted out pretty bad) and the exhaust seemed loud. The other seems more solid but we could not get it started (the seller said it ran last year but "needed work")

I am looking for a cart for the family camp and was thinking I could make one good one from the two. I have no idea what year these are. What do you think? decent price at $500?

Thanks much.. time to read read read through the forums! :)

Sounds like a good deal to me. Pictures would be good though to see what shape they are in.
Not an expert by any means but I would probably buy them if they are in decent shape.

I'd say if one has a good body and frame and the other has a good motor to go for it. You should be able to build atleast one good cart out of it and have spare parts just incase.
