G16 Runs By Itself

Helping a friend figue out his cart. It's a 1998 G16. Was driving it and it just died. No power at all. Hooked a battery charger to it and it wants to run. Even with the key in the off position. Any suggestions will be greatfull. Don't want to start replacing parts, and not have a clue. Thanks

It died and now wants to run all the time.
Sounds like 2 diferant problems.
I would trace back the activation circuit for
a stuck switch at the throttle for starters.

Thank you, Is that the switch that is under the cart on the gas pedal? I have read some threads about solonoid problem and someone said to check this switch.

Yes that is the one. Start with your volt meter and check if the the
solenoid is being activated by power or mechanically stuck.
