I'm not too sure about the split back rests identification method hold true for the carryall carts. The change to the solid backrests was for ds model carts. By looking at the steering wheel though it does look like a 91 or older. Check the engine as Simone else stated. If it has the flat head motor you can be sure it's 91 or earlier.
