gas club car oil change HELP!!
i have a gas club car 2000 fe350 and wondering the oil amount i put 44 oz in and now its smoking seems that too much anyways whats the exact amount thanks in advance

are you sure its 44 oz and not 40 oz? is cart lifted? if so you have to change the fill mark on dipstick.....what kind of oil did you use?......................

yes the cart is lifted , i use 10w30 i dont go by the dipstick being full , its gotta be over filled though because its never smoked before

Lifting the cart tilts the motor,thus changing the oil-level.Try draining it down a touch and re-run it a bit.You may have to run it for a little while to burn the residue out of the exhaust.Hope this helps.

i beleive you need 40 oz not 44 if i,m wrong someone will correct me............as for lifting it that throws the mark off and if you go my the factory mark you overfill it so you have to fill it with correct amount then mark the dipstick with a new mark.......................................

Per the service manual...
32 oz. without changing the filter, 38 oz. with a new filter. |
