09 Precedent runs with key off
We are working on a 2009 Precedent that will run even when the key is turned off. Changed the solenoid and still have the same problem. Any ideas? Could it be the resister?

Have you checked the switch posts for continuity in the on and off position?

We unhooked the wires from the ignition and also the spade wires from the solenoid and it still runs without the key.

I would check to see if the switch is working properly using your DVM. One lug will always have 48v, while the other will have 0v when the key is off, and 48v when it's on. If they are both reading 48v when the key is either on or off, you have a bad switch.
