Attaching accelerator spring to bracket
I have an 02 club car DS with the Kawasaki FE290 engine. I am installing a new accelerator cable and having a really tough time attaching that little accelerator spring to the governing balance bracket. Anyone have any tricks or helpful hints to assist me with this silly issue?
Thanks |

If you post a picture, I bet you will get all kinds of advice. Im trying to think of the spring you are talking about, but a picture would really help.

It always reminded me of those little wire interlock puzzles. Once you had it in just the right place they slid right together.

Re: Attaching accelerator spring to bracket
The way I did it on the ones at the golf course was to get everything ready to install, then hook the spring on both ends and gently slide them on at the same time.
