Default Differential Help

Hi All Can anyone tell me if I Can turn the differential On a different angle ? I'm thinking of making a Jeep Body out of wood and the motor is like on the top I want it to be more towards the back not Horizontal but more then a 45*?? I know I will have to move the spring perch's and worse yet maybe the axle's would have to be turned also, to line up the brakes. Thanks for any help. Joe100

Default Re: Differential Help

I would think that you may have oiling problems since the oil pan wouldn't be at the bottom anymore. Might looking into older ezgo rear ends, they had the motor pointed forward between the batteries.
