Re: Radio and led toggle switch
drummer, find the hot wire going to the pos. post on your aux. battery and wire a toggle in the line. On a standard toggle there are two posts, cut the wire and wire it to one of the spades on the toggle switch using a connector, then take another wire and bring it from the remaining spade on toggle switch and run it to a fuse holder(glass or blade(buss)fuse) and then to pos. post on your batt. I use blade fuses like on a vehicle, easier to mess with to me. Don't use a fuse too big, because if you have a electrical problem a high amp fuse might not blow before you fry your radio or led's. If you use a lighted toggle switch, they have three spades, the third one is a ground for the toggle switch light and has to go to neg. post on your aux. batt. for the light on your switch to work. Hope this helps ya' out.

Re: Radio and led toggle switch
This is the one I used http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Sea-Systems-Marine-Fuse-Block Its water proof and has a buss for the negative since you don't want to ground to the chassis

Re: Radio and led toggle switch
Same one I used, except I used glass cartridge fuses instead of blades, only because I have a ton of them.

Re: Radio and led toggle switch
You can get them from anywhere from advance auto, autozone, oriellys, wal mart. They have standard toggle(2 spade)switches or lighted(different color 3 spade)flip switches. I've got the lighted in 4 different colors on mine, looks like Christmas time in the summer.

Re: Radio and led toggle switch
You might consider marine switches.
Lighted switches complicate the wiring a little. |
