I used these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Labeled-boat-Marine-Contura-II-Rocker-Switch-Carling-lighted-Stereor Water proof, easy to switch on and off and lighted.

Actually, I got my lighted switches from www.rockauto.com,their not marine grade but mine is closed up inside the garage(where the wife's jeep should be)
 so I really didn't need marine grade. |

I'm looking to do the same thing on my cart and also have a question around the switch. I've seen different ratings on switches, is there a particular rating I should look for in an Aux battery setup? Any particular rating for a switch used as a kill switch for the cart itself.

Most radios come with inline fuse. Match that current rating and you'll be fine.
Kill switch should match the controller. I'd even add 10% if it were mine. 400 amp controller need a 400 amp kill switch. |
