Charge those batteries ASAP.

Do you have a stock controller or an upgrade?

Since you're new here, Welcome.

Since your batteries are only one year old, go here and read everything about batteries:

http://www.cartsunlimited.net/How_Batteries_Work.html

http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Batter..._Tutorial.html

http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Batter...n_Methods.html

and Trojan's website also has some good videos and .pdfs.

At that voltage reading - 36.6 volts - I'd be heading home, not going out.

It would be helpful if after charging he could let the pack sit idle for 12hours and give us the standing voltage of the pack. Should be about 38.4 volts. Then if he could attach the meter to the pack (I use alligator clips) and tell us how low the meter drops when he gives full throttle.
