Default 08 txt controller?

Have an ezgo txt PDS cart. Grounded pack to frame and the main ground wire from my blinker and hazard light switch roasted. That is the only thing I found burnt. Ran new wire for that. Now there is no buzzer and no solenoid click...

No wire for a golf cart should ever be attached to the frame. Here is the diagram for your PDS cart.

as Sport mentioned........your problem is that you grounded your system to the frame.....that's a BIG NO-NO and why your switch roasted

Sorry I wasn't to specific on what happened. I grounded the pack to frame by dropping a wrench that happened to land perfectly on the B+ and touch the frame in front of the pack. Needless to say a gigantic cloud of smoke followed and now I'm here. Got all wiring done as per the print you shared. (Thank you by the way sport.) And getting nothing with key on and switch in fwd. No click no movement and when in rev I got no beep. Lights work blinkers now work. Thinking I made a pricey mistake....

oops.....ya may have.....just the reason why I disconnect the battery pack when I am doing ANYTHING under the seat that involves me having a wrench in my hand, or any other tool made of metal.

You may have just taken out a switch or two instead of the controller, but I would bet on it.

Verify you have pack voltage on J1 Pins 4 & 5.
With Run/Tow switch in Run position, push the cart by hand.
The beeper should beep rapidly and the solenoid should click and the cart will be hard to push due to max regen braking being applied. (Walkaway safety mode activates)

If that happens, the controller might be good and the problem could be in the switches and/or wiring external to the controller.

If further troubleshooting reveals the controller to be bad, check out FSIP.

OK j1 pins 4 and 5 had pack voltage. I haven't got a chance to push it along is there anything else I can check before pushing it? Those pins had voltage with run mode, key on, switch in fwd, and both when pedal was not pushed and when it was pushed.

Those two pins are hot 100% of the time. The voltage source for Pin-4 is via the reed switch, but the reed switch on an '08 was replaced with a fuse at the factory.

You can check to see if you get pack voltage on all the wires highlighted in red on attached schematic.
If you do, the solenoid should click.
