Default PowerDrive 2 Charger Issue

I have a 2007 DS with a PowerDrive2 charger and up until yesterday everything was fine. Now, when I plug in my charger to car, the relay will close in the charger but there is no hum from the transformer and the ammeter goes up to about 1-2 amps and then falls immediately back to zero or below. Any suggestions. One friend said IQ controller may be bad.

This is the Introductions section, a mod will be along shortly to move it to the Sparky CC section...

Anyway, the controller is not part of the charging system, but it very well could be the OBC (on board computer). Maybe that is what your friend was thinking of.
Try a reset of the OBC first: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tting-obc.html

Check the wall for AC power.

After that check the fuse or breaker in the charger itself; if good then bypass the relay in the charger and check it for DC voltage output.... Always a good idea to try silly simple steps first such as checking the wall outlet and/or plugging into another known good outlet... Try your charger on another cart if you can; try another charger on your cart if you can...
