I changed mine. I thought about the purple stuff but finally decided on AMSOIL synthetic and I am very happy with it. I almost swear that the cart is a bit faster, but I know for sure that it rides quieter and smoother.

You guys are WAAAAYYYYYYY over thinking this. Wesson's Corn Oil would work as well any anything. I'm still running the original oil that came in my '94 DS.

Until very recently I had been under the impression that I would never change the rear oil in any cart that I own. Cgtech enabled me to see the light when he pointed out that carts that have an internal disc break inside the diff are pretty hard on the oil because of the shavings from the disc. I intend to replace the oil on my YDREs this summer. My CC however will continue to enjoy the '94 vintage.

That's funny, there's a member here that runs Wesson oil in his diff. He has it in his signature.
