I put a black marine style battery box in the bag well under the rear seat and bolted it down. I then use a battery tender type charger and plug in when charging the cart over night. It powers lights and stereo and has worked great the last three years.

Finally finished the install. Sorry it took so long.
There's a battery cut-off, volt-meter, and a push-button switch to get an instant reading on the battery without having the volt-meter on 24/7. All installed in the top of the battery box cover. All connections were soldered, and shrink wrapped... Hope this helps... |

That is what I was thinking of. What are the dimensions of the battery box and what is the group size of the battery you are using? Is that a lawn mower battery? Thanks for your posting.

Here is the battery box I ordered.
. Yes, that's a lawn mower battery, but I'd recommend a deep cell battery that is meant to be discharged and recharged. I only used the lawn mower battery for mock up... Oh yeah. Make sure to use inline fuses for your accessories... |
