Very good advice. Its funny, cars are so reliable these days i haven't messed with a battery in 20 years. Thanks for the reminder for safety.

Just this very day I ordered gun rack mounts for the front basket. So yes I agree. I am a car guy anyway so this is not much of a stretch as a hobby.

Welcome aboard. Scooterman's advice is great. If you have (a) an analog meter, or (b) one with multiple LEDs that are all lit when the pack is charged and as the pack discharges the LEDs go off one-by-one throw it away. You will know much more about your pack if you go to the website of one of our members (ScottyB) an purchase an appropriate meter:

Thanks, great advice. I have been needing some new projects so meters, fenders and such will work just fine
