Default Slows Dwn

01 CC 48 volt IQ starts off fast in fwd then slows dwn to 7 or 8 mphs Batteries are good have changed speed sensor Q magnet has a small crack would this cause car to act this way.

A 2001 cart wasn't available with the IQ system. Can you post the serial number? I'll help you out once I figure out what I'm working with.

Usually a cracked magnet will not cause this unless there are pieces of the magnet physically missing. Did you buy a factory speed sensor or one of the cheap ones? The cheap ones are known to be bad right out of the box.

I Purchased it on ebay cart isn't slow down in reverse it also dosen't have any resistant
when you let it roll.

There's a huge possibility that's your problem. You might want to try the factory sensor. You have all the symptoms of a bad speed sensor.
