Default Older 36v Club Car low forward power

Cart has 1 solenoid and a step system of contacts to increase power (speed). In Reverse it has normal power but in Fwd it acts like it is starting in high gear and has skipped the lower gear. No starting power. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If you have 2 brake pedals your golf cart is older than 1981

Numbers after the letter denote the year on 1970 to 1980 "Caroche" models.

346 to 1335 was manufactured from 1/21/70 to 12/30/70.
1336 to 24922 was manufactured from 1/13/71 to 11/03/71.
2493 to 3919 was manufactured from 3/7/72 to 11/3/72.
3920 to 5746 was manufactured from 1/5/73 to 11/27/73.
5747 to 7834 was manufactured from 1/14/74 to 12/6/74.
7838 to 11198 was manufactured from 1/1/75 to 12/10/75.
11199 to 16148 was manufactured from 1/5/76 to 12/28/76.
16149 to 21276 was manufactured from 1/3/77 to 12/30/77.
21277 to 29170 was manufactured from 1/4/78 to 12/30/78.
29171 and up was manufactured from 1/8/79 to 12/29/79.

1 solenoid could be resistor coil.

I do have the coils shown with only one solenoid. You can see the solenoid in the center of the attached picture. Only one brake peddle!

Also you can see the controller contacts
which all appear to be making good contact.
One battery will not go to a full charge. Could that possibly be the problem?
Any help would be appreciated. The wife uses the cart to carry veggies from the garden, without it I may have to carry!

Thank you CTD! You got me to the serial number and I now know it is a 91. And thank you for the color wiring diagram! It does look like it is a Club Car 36V V-Glide. If you think the battery could be the problem, would it be ok in reverse and weak in forward?
