Default ALLTRAX install advise/suggestions needed

Installing my DCX500 alltrax in my PDS cart. I need advise on the Run/Tow switch. Where is a good place to mount it since the cover no longer fits. Making a bracket to mount it is no problem, but how would I water proof it? Having a water tight alltrax with an exposed Run/Tow switch doesn't sound right.

Some guys cut the environmental cover in half. Install the top half with the run/tow switch mount and get a little extra protection for your controller terminals.

I thought of that scottyb, but I'm looking for a cleaner install than that. And, dont really want to cover the led light.
Anyone else?

OK after thinking about this all night, This is the fix I came up with. 1 1/4 Alum tube. Cut one side until the switch will fit in. Drill hole through other side for switch toggle.

I engraved Run and Tow on mine

I used furniture caps for the ends for waterproofing.

I installed the assembly under the body lip just above the Alltrax

That should fix my concerns on this. Now the heavy duty solenoid doesn't fit the mount spacing on the Alltrax..........another bracket comming up.

Being new I did not know that. We pick up the 07 PDS EZGO Wednesday and holding the upgrades to the second seat/box bed and cut in head/tail lights.

We are excited about getting our first fun machine. The kids wanted an ATV but dad can not get on one due to arthritis so I went with something I can ride and with the stock drive line I know they are not going over 13 MPH.

Since they will be driving in 3 years solo I wanted them to have more car like controls too.
