Re: EZGO Steering Problem???????
Hi again guys, I have attached a picture, I think this is cracked and it's the problem??? Do you guys know what part that is and would it be easier and cheaper just to get it welded back together?

Re: EZGO Steering Problem???????
Not only is it broke in half but at least one mounting tab is broken also.
Not sure if the housing is cast from junk pot metal or aluminum, A good welder could tell you. You could remove it and see if you could get someone to clean it up and reweld it maybe adding some gussets in the process but if it isn't straight it might bind. Any Idea what shipping $$$ from here to down under is roughly? Someone here might have a good one. |

Re: EZGO Steering Problem???????
Thanks, postage isn't that much actually. I can source one in Australia for $145 but they are in the US for about $85. Its just the housing I need isn't it?

Re: EZGO Steering Problem???????
I would think your rack and pinion are still good and the skip is coming from the split housing but since you have to order might as well tear it down and inspect it first just in case.
