I concur. There doesn't really seem to be a way to come out ahead. If you do plan on getting an RXV, you might want to pick it up for spare parts. I can't see that it would be worthwhile to return it to fully functional status. What are the odds that the body will fit a TXT chassis? If that worked, you could have what appears to be a newish cart for next to nothing.

The rxv is a completely different cart in many ways. I swear I think the only thing that will swap is the steering wheel and tires. And the old style key will work the ignition. Around here the basic 08 will start near 2K maybe less depending on condition and batteries. I can't say about anywhere else. As for the one you are looking at, thats obviously up to you. For me, I would consider it at least because I may run across a used controller at sometime from a crashed cart. It happens.
