Might be too late but I like to use a dab of blue locktight on all bolts. Carts vibrate and bolts that vibrate will work loose over time..
all bolts are loctited, nyloc, or cotter pinned/e-clipped so far. I dabble in racing go karts - i've become fairly well versed in keeping things cinched down/secure!

Gonk - to answer your question. I'm heading in the direction of the cart that Chloe built. This buggy is going to primarily be a campground cruiser. After the refresh is complete my primary objectives will be to get a new smart charger and a new battery bank. After that I may look into some slight upgrades, primarily torque - but nothing major for this one.

Some progress to report.

Filled the holes for whatever the hell that plastic piece was on the rear quarter panels.
