Aux Battery Mounting
So I am looking to add a small sealed battery to run LED lights and radio. I see there are several people that mention mounting in the dash and several other locations. I have a 2008 Precedent with a stereo dash that includes the radio and speakers. Does anyone have some good pics of how there aux battery is mounted? I would like to mount one in the dash but was looking for some ideas and pics, and maybe even some direction on how you did it.
Thanks |

Re: Aux Battery Mounting
I cut the tray out in center section and set the battery down inside and it doesn't move and it is out of the way |

Re: Aux Battery Mounting
What is it sitting on? I see that tray in mine, but it doesn't look that deep. My original dash was removed for teh dash that has the speakers and stereos built into it, but when I look behind the stereo I do see a tray but it looks much shallower than that.

Re: Aux Battery Mounting
I got the 14 position fuse block with neg bus at Napa and The top tray isn't deep at all but there is another tray under it that the battery sits down on once you cut the top tray..I got the idea from another member on here so hopefully he will chime in as I can't remember who it was but it works great and its out of the way and I installed a Stereo above mine..

Re: Aux Battery Mounting
What gauge wire did you run to the fuse block? Also how do you charge it, do you have a plug mounted somewhere or just hook the charger direct to battery?
