Depends where you are at??
Here, That cart is significantly over priced! A stock gas 97 CC gas will get about 15 to 1700 and they command better prices than electrics regardless of the age of batteries.
With everything else listed, the high end on that cart for my area would be about 2200.00.

Dont walk, RUN away from that deal!

. . . it is still 18 years old with older electronic technology . . . $3700 would buy a heck of a newer cart in my opinion . . .

I wouldn't dis the old DS, I would be aware of the 95-96 potentiometer throttle input potential problems. And the I would avoid any of the RegenI or Regen II 1997-99 models with 2 solenoids. Note CC made Regen and series carts in these years, the series drive carts of 97-99 are fine.
The potentiometer used was mounted under the floor where it often got wet and refused to work. Also that throttle unit is no longer made.
So I would keep looking.
Also I don't think that price is totally out of line for a lifted, painted, accessorized cart with a dealer warranty.

I hope this helps more than confuses

No, sounds like they have addressed the pot okay.... just a matter of keeping the cart out of the water, now.

FLCraker,
Are you in FL? if so IMO the cart is over priced, check Craigs list for GA carts or N FL.
