Re: Problems with my 98 ezgo
Checked the wires on the switch. They seem fine also. Not sure where to go next.

Re: Problems with my 98 ezgo
It has a radio but I pulled the fuse for it. No it hasn't been on the charger since we got it home. The meter says full and I checked all the batteries with a volt meter and they checked good.

Re: Problems with my 98 ezgo
one last thing... Did you check the wires on the motor? I had one that was just about cooked.. It would run for a while and then stop.. drove me nuts til i reached in there and wiggled the darn thing and saw how bad it was... now I check all cables two or three times a yr... good luck my friend

Checked the wires to the motor this morning. All the wires seem fine and none look like they have been hot or feel like they are about to break.

I mean EVERY connection, ESPECIALLY the control circuit. Key, F-N-R, and solenoid. Heck if you are driving along and you hit a small bump your seat doesn't feel but the cart does. That just might be enough. |

Re: Problems with my 98 ezgo
YEPPER... I agree with the last post... I bet it is something simple and cheap... If you are lucky.. When i first started messing with my cart i had the same problem... It would run fine , then out of nowhere, just shut down.. I found a bad conection on the cart that looked like it was fine... check the simple stuff first... hope it works out for ya!!!
