Default Werker Battery's

I need a review on Werker battery's. I have them in a buggy I just bought and was wondering what I could expect.

Werker is a private label brand name owned by a battery retailer and the batteries themselves can be from any one of several battery manufacturers that will place someone else's label on their products. Unless you can find the OEM name on the batteries you have, no one knows what they are.

Sitting that aside, if they take a full charge and provide satisfactory run-time, they are fine for now.
If they don't, they need to be replaced.

I put them in my 98 48V CC, they worked well for 4 1/2 years until I/we sold the cart!

They seem to be ok. I ran them 3.5 miles yesterday and still had half the charge left. I hooked them to the charger and they charged right up. I'm new to carts. This is an older model Bad Boy and I'm not sure how much power and torque it should have. Any info on the older Bad Boys are appreciated.

You happen to know/remember who made the set you had?

East Penn makes some of them, Johnson Controls makes some of them, Exide makes some of them, and the list goes on.

However, the AH rating is more important than the name.
Here is a list of 6V batteries commonly used in golf carts.
Find a battery with the same or similar AH as what you have and that is where is stacks up in comparison with the others.

You ran them for 3.5 miles and still had half charge? They don't sound too healthy to me.

I have no clue, I can barely remember last week much less 6 years ago!
The receipt went with the cart so I don't even have a model #,
All I can remember is they were solid black, and I got them at Batteries Plus!

I dunno Bokester's. From what I understand...if you can get a BBB to run 3.5 miles you've got yourself a BBB keeper!!!

I hope I didn't make a mistake buying the older Bad Boy.
