Yup I learned and posted that a paint can opener is one of the best tools for removing the magnet. Since then I have bent the tip of an old flat blade screwdriver. The paint can opener is sometimes not sturdy enough. Also you need to spray the magnet with some wd-40 or similar and let it set for a couple of hours. I posted a thread about my experience of taking the magnet off about 8 months ago.
