its a club car charger, and has worked great all summer./Would it take awhile for the CC charger to find, this is not working./and then stop working?

No, it probably didn't like it from the get go
Your best bet at this point is to get some golf cart flooded batts- that's what the cart is designed to use.

... golf cart batteries are deep cycle, flooded batteries with caps on top of the cells for adding distilled water to maintain the fluid level . . . you can either convert to golf cart batteries or purchase a charger designed for gel batteries . . . the CC charger is not designed for gel batteries . . if you change to a gel battery charger, you will then need to bypass/remove the OBC properly . . .

Anybody know where is a good [inexpensive]place to get these blocks of gold?? {cart batteries}thanks bob s guess i buy new batts . Messing with the wiring is not some place i want to go .unless its in a hottrod

Check your local golf cart shops. They usually have used batteries they sell for less than $50 a piece.

Speaking of blocks of gold. How did your cart wind up with gel batteries. Looked up the price on line and they are expensive. At least you will be replacing them with blocks of silver. :) Sam's would be one place to look.

Igot them from a fella who said they weren't needed anymore at the cable company. They aren't stolen or anything , Seems as though i could buy the right charger for less than buying new batteries.

Is sams a sponser here?
