Stupid as it sounds........I've done it, granted I was intoxicated

Check to see if the rocker switch is in forward, as in put it in forward neutral then reverse. Mine seems to act up after a few beers

Alright,

Able to look at cart this morning. I hooked the buzzer back up and it is making noise continually, even with key in the off position, neutral, and forward. Only way it stops is turning switch to tow.

The controller led light is not on either. It's an alltrax controller with B&B label.

Tried jumping blue and white wires together from obc on the cart side, ( did not join together the plug afterwards), tested, and nothing.

God Bless,
David B.

Does the buzzer stop buzzing if you un-plug the three wires from the bottom of the F&R switch? These switches often get water in them after a rain or a car wash. Water, being the conductor that it is, conducts power across all three terminals inside the switch and the vehicle cant tell what position the switch is in. It thinks it's in reverse and forward at the same time. Because of this, the buzzer stays on all the time and the car won't run because it doesn't know which way to go. Un-plug the wires from the switch. If the buzzing stops, open up the switch by prying outward on the plastic tabs at the base of the switch. Dry it out and reassemble it. See if that does the trick. If it doesn't, you're probably gonna need a controller.

Thanks David.

I'll look at it and see.

Update.

Sent controller to Alltrax.

They report the power supply was gone, and not able to rebuild..

is the controller worth anything, and should I have them send it back to me, or should I just let them keep it?

They recommended the
Alltrax XCT-48500 IQ Motor Controller instead of replacing with the DCX600R18 it had in it.

Thoughts on the above?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you.

Any worth to the controller I sent them, or should I let them keep it for scrap?

God Bless,
