front end help on ccds
i have a 1991 club car ds and I put a 6 inch a arm lift with 23 inch tires, I got it all together and if the steering wheel is straight the right tire goes straight and the left is turning to the right, I took the tie rod out and shortened it up as much as possible and it took half of it out, I still need to go another inch but the rod is too long, can I cut the rod and rethread it for the end to thread back into it, and it so do I have to do both ends of it or get by with just one end? I sure hope I made this sound like you can understand it.

Adjust both sides equally.

Re: front end help on ccds
they are equal, they are both all the way screwed in and I still need to go more but the rod in middle of the tie rod ends is too big, that is why I was curious if I can cut and re tap the ends

Re: front end help on ccds
First does the steering wheel the same amount each direction. Then if they don't adjust I would talk to the people who made the lift before cutting anything.
