2006 precedent, got wet
2006 precedent IQ, got wet the other night. Had a little to much fun. The solenoid clicks some of the time but it will not go. Reverse buzzer is working, the roll away breaking is working. But if I flip the run/tow switch to run the solenoid will click when press the pedal a couple of times then it quits clicking. If I flip run/tow to tow and back to run it will click again. Where should I start? Any and all help is appreciated as I am currently residing in the dog house.

Put it in the sunshine, let it dry out and hope for the best.

You probably got water in some of the connectors. I would put it in tow, and disconnect some of the harnesses and connectors and I guarantee there is water or moisture at a minimum in there. I see this alot in golf course mowers with deutch connectors, the exact kind at the tow/run switch and other places. When you find the connectors with moisture blow them out with compressed air.

and maybe if you find them pack those areas with Dielectric grease to prevent it from getting in there the next time?

Yes it's a factory controller. I been wanting a xct anyway. Just want to make sure the motor, and MCOR, aren't fried as well.

Re: 2006 precedent, got wet
Well, What had happened was.. a buddy of mine took his jacked up big tire ezgo through a slew up at Clarks Hill and dared me to try it, and since I have stock turf tires I decided I needed to get a running start. (I blame Natural light, for that decision.) It was a hell of a splash.

Well now it's time for a total upgrade. Big motor, controller, cables, solenoid, mud tires and a tow strap to pull him out with next time he dares you, lol
